About Dr. Tolga Temel

After graduating from Osmangazi University Faculty of Medicine, I started my career in Kastamonu Kascilar Health Center in 1996, and today I continue my career at the Natural Beauty and Wellness Center that I founded in Antalya Lara.

I took many different positions in professional associations, public health institutions and private health institutions, and each task gave me a different experience and perspective.

During my student years, my relationship with professional associations, which started with the Eskişehir Medical Chamber and continued in every city, gave me a perspective of Community Medicine.

In the first years of my professional life, I worked in the Health Center in Kastamonu, and my humanistic perspective combined with the Environment and Public Health experience and formed the foundations of my current understanding of Preventive Medicine.

In the Psychosocial Support and Crisis Intervention Unit established by the Ministry of Health in Edirne Selimiye State Hospital, the trainings I received and the observations I gained in the clinical studies I participated in, especially on Psychological Factors in Psychiatric Emergencies and Emergency Diseases, Psychological Effects of Trauma and Chronic Diseases and Metabolic Results in Psychological Diseases It made me question my perspective on Medical Education and actually move towards the Holistic Medicine perspective that was basically taught to us but then neglected.

I worked as the Director of the Turkish Red Crescent Antalya Blood Center for five years in Antalya, and during this process I had the chance to observe the differences in behavior and knowledge about the health of healthy individuals and to identify the problems. Subsequently, during my duty as Chief Physician at Private Antalya Medical Center for five years, my research and studies in the field of Holistic Medicine started.

The process, which started with Russian-born American Neurology and Nutrition Specialist Dr. Natasha Campbell’s GAPS trainings, intensified with phytotherapy, mesotherapy and aromatherapy trainings. Turkish-German Oncology Specialist Dr. Hüseyin Şahinbaş’s trainings on Heavy Metal Toxicity and Chelation Treatments in Diseases, Intravenous High Dose IV Vitamin C and Thermal Therapy, and British Kinesitherapy and Osteopathy Specialist Dr. He continued with many trainings, especially Chris Astill Smith’s education, and with an intense reading tempo and still
continues.
